I cannot tell you how many times a day I am asked this question by potential clients.  So let me answer them.

Anywhere you go in the world there is crime.  Just remember just because you are on vacation on a paradise island…that doesnt mean that the criminals are on vacation!  Statistically you as an expat have a higher chance of getting murdered in the US then you do on the mainland of Honduras.  Wow how about that?

If you follow the guidelines and let my drivers transport you where you want to go, dont go where it is recommended not to go and dont flaunt money and/or jewels and riches, you will be just fine on Roatan.

Bugs……..hmmmmmmmmmmmm.  Well there is a lot to talk about them.  We do have no see-ums here.  Yes they are horrible; but can be dealt with for sure.  When you become a client of AT YOUR SERVICE we guide you through how to prevent the nasty spots you get from them, we give you a certain soap and a great natural spray made here on the island for the bugs of Roatan………….

…………………As a special touch, Sue-Ann had an incredible rose display set on the table with a card for my wife (which i emailed to er what to write on it from me) which won tons of bonus points for me. She also left a trail of rose petals which lead upstairs to the master bedroom…absolutely fantastic! Her attention to detail made such a phenomenal impression. My wife was in tears within seconds after stepping through the door.

With my first trip to Roatan I wanted to make sure it was a very memorable experience. At Your Service provided that in spades. My intent was to provide my wife an anniversary trip to make up for the honeymoon we didn’t get to enjoy in 2006 courtesy of Hurricane John. From the very first e-mail, I knew Sue-Ann had full control of the situation. She operated in a very professional manner and after a couple of messages and a phone call or two, our week was booked with excursions that included PADI certification, in-home chef prepared dinners, a sunset cruise, a dolphin encounter and island tours for starters.
